The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) was created in 1965 as the UN’s global development network. Its mission is to eradicate poverty and reduce inequalities by promoting sustainable development in more than 170 countries and territories. The UNDP provides technical and financial assistance to governments for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
