Evaluation criteria
Public Speaking
If a conference is defined by anything, speeches and the act of speaking have the tendency to be one of the most memorable events. Public Speaking in this regard is defined by any instance of speech within the conference that is not part of the Debate format (which will be highlighted in the Debating Skills criteria). Delegates with a knack for speech writing and oration will prosper in this part of the evaluation. We’d then certainly recommend that those interested in the elements of speaking up and fighting for ones positions and representations to find ample time to refine your skills as a speaker. Outlined below are the hallmarks of this criteria.
Speeches are tallied within:
- General Speakers Lists
- Moderated Caucuses
- Resolution and Amendment Debates
